It was my mom’s birthday and I needed to look pretty for pictures! It was pretty hot that day but I was getting a ride there, so I picked this black loose fitted dress from H&M. You may think it’s a polka dot dress but it’s actually hearts! It makes the outfit more girly and cute! I also added some accessories so it won’t be plain!
1. H&M Patterned Dress in Black (Buy at H&M – $19.95)
This dress is one of my favourite dresses in my closet. It is lightweight and cute. You may think that the dress is polka dot but if you zoom in closely, they are actually hearts which gives a more girly look! It is nice and loose fitting so that is really comfortable.
2. FYSH glasses in Frosted Purple (Buy at Shore Optical, bought at local eyewear)
The glasses I usually wear are plain black large frame glasses. To glam up this outfit, I have this fashion pair that gives me a more fashionable and girly yet cute look! I get really great compliments when I wear these glasses. Always change up your accessories! It gives you more confidence in yourself!
3. Michael Kors Rose Gold Watches (Buy at Michael Kors, similar one)
The rose gold watch gives a great accessory look for the outfit. The dress is black so have a pop of colour by adding a bold accessory. It is nice to have a watch when you are on a date because you don’t want to be constantly looking at your phone. Your date might think that you’re just checking your text and such when you’re just wondering what time is it!
4. Kate Spade Scallop Tote (Buy at Kate Spade Outlets)
This is one of the cutest bags I found at the Kate Spade outlet last month, it has this nice neutral/warm colour that can match with any outfit. The scallop pattern on top of the bag gives a more unique look to the bag. It is a medium size bag which fits your essentials plus a bit more!
5. Cityclassified Sandals (Buy at Ross – $17.99)
To look more dressy than wearing flip flops, sandals are the way to go! You may not want to wear flats because in the summer, it will get all sweaty and hot. But sandals give you the freedom and dressier look for your outfit! I found this pair at Ross for only $17.99! You can always find affortable and good quality shoes at your local thrift store or stores that have big brands for less (eg. Winners, Marshalls, Ross, etc)
