[pullquote width=”100%” float=”left”] “‘Be Somebody Who Makes Everybody Feel like a Somebody’. As a dreamer and an avid reader who is on an endless pursuit for beautiful words, I believe this quote accurately reflects Mint to Inspire’s vision of creating a print in the world through fostering the talents of young, and creative individuals.”[/pullquote]
Two months ago, I started to embark on this journey with four young women whose creative visions lie parallel to mine. Today, we sat down reminiscing about the milestones we’ve reached since the beginning of our journey, and smiling back upon our accomplishments. Smiles were exchanged, and the ring of spontaneous laughter filled the air as we recounted the events that happened during the launch party held in July earlier this year. At the event, we mingled with fashion enthusiasts, makeup artists, bloggers, photographers… the list goes on. Looking back, I remember feeling a rush of excitement as I entered the room. Despite coming from different backgrounds, and having varied interests, our vision of achieving something really spectacular with Mint To Inspire was shared amongst all the attendees. I know that there still are plenty of others out there who yearn for the opportunity to have their talents recognized. Mint to Inspire is here to accomplish this.

We recognize that the creative industry can be very inaccessible and exclusive at times, and there are many talented individuals who are waiting to be recognized. Mint to Inspire offers these talents a platform to demonstrate their skills and passions, thereby connecting them to a larger network. Our vision is to build a tight-knit community of creative individuals.

Admit it. All of us have regretted not trying something, or doing something at one point in our lives. The truth is that everybody here has the potential to achieve success, but this can’t happen if you won’t give life a second look. When I was in elementary school, I was too scared to audition for the school play. Growing up, I was extremely insecure with my physical appearance. So, instead of preparing for the audition, I allowed my sense of insecurity and lack of confidence cloud my judgement. I never stepped foot on stage. When I was five, I would walk pass the ballet studio everyday. I really wanted to be a ballerina, but again, I felt that I wasn’t ready. If I could go back, I would have pushed my ‘five year-old me’ into the dance studio, and forced her to put on ballet shoes.
It wasn’t until I reached high school that I began to break out of my comfort zone. I picked up a guitar. I landed one of the leading roles in a school musical. I even participated in my university’s largest public speaking contest. I gave life a chance, and I learned that the more opportunities one takes, the more doors open. Mint To Inspire is always an open door. We’re a really encouraging group of individuals who want to help others shine. So, why not send us an email and let’s stir up a conversation, today? Share your stories with us, and we’ll share ours. It’s time to inspire.
