On Thursday, October 22, we were so excited to attend Fall for Local‘s fourth annual event. Fall For Local is a gathering of local entrepreneurs with a driving force of inspiration and encouragement, and we had such a great time being a part of the community they have created.
The first part of the event was a speaker series. Some things on the schedule included a talk from our friends at Treasures & Travels about their journey to becoming professional bloggers, a Q&A panel with some of Vancouver’s driven entrepreneurs, including Marissa from Design Love Co., and a social media workshop hosted by Latergramme. We loved learning about all the different ways people have come into their careers are entrepreneurs. There’s really no one way to do it, and everyone in the room was a living testimony for that.
Fall for Local did such a great job at showing off the local brands of our city. We were in cotton candy heaven at Petite Puff’s cart, had tasty coffee cocktails by Goliath Coffee, and took fun selfies with Swanybooth.
Thank you for inviting us to the event, Fall For Local! We had a lovely time celebrating the work of Vancouver’s entrepreneurs and meeting wonderful people!
