It’s that time of year where we all start searching for amazing presents for our amazing family and friends. We have collaborated with Vellum & Bloom with a sneak peak of their book gifting service.
How does this work? You, as the buyer, fill out a questionnaire where the results help a human hand-select a book to fit your tastes. These aren’t mainstream books that you can find at big box bookstores. These authors are truly hidden gems that Vellum & Bloom have access to!
Additionally, you can subscribe for 3, 6 or 12-month packages for the best gifts including luxurious stationary, limited art prints, and unusual confectionary sourced from local artisans and international design houses!
Vellum & Bloom sent us two books to show you. They were wrapped in custom wrapping paper with a premium feeling. It included a cute note card and those library borrowing cards that you used in elementary school when you were young. That was definitely a great throwback!
The first book is called Rom Com by Daniel Zomparelli and Dina Del Bucchia. It is a super cute and funny romantic comedy book that is filled with playful, special, and comedic poems. Whether you’re gifting to a 7 year old niece or your parents, the illustrations in the book fun and very welcoming to all audiences.
The second book is my favourite. It is a fiction novel called The Gallery of Lost Species by Nina Berkhout which is about finding solace in unexpected places with thirteen-year-old Edith Walker. It is filled with bond and sisterhood, which is definitely a good read for those that love to see differences in sisterhood and how they come together.
