Keeping your business organized is super important. The more organized you are, more things will get done. Here are our top 5 tips on organizing your business!
A Creative Space
Creating your dream office can inspire you to work productively everyday. A clear desk is perfect to fit your computer or laptop, a notebook and some office organization (which we will talk about next!). In our studio, we make sure to keep the area clean before we leave so that the next time we work, we will be ready to go!
Office organization is the key essential on our desks, whether it’s a filing cabinet to keep track of our records, collaborations or any paperwork, we make sure to keep them filed by date so if we ever need to look back, it will be super easy to access. Other things such as boxes to store away products, stationery and labelling them with stickers ensures that we won’t have to look for it and that we will know exactly where it is.
Keeping A Planner
A lot of people now use their calendar as their planner but what’s better than writing everything down in a planner that you can look back to right away without being bothered by text messages or emails. It’s super satisfying to be able to check off the tasks you have done and the appointments you have went to. Looking for recommendations? Our top pick planners are definitely Stil Classics and JLynnDesignery.
Whether you are creating goals in your planner or notebook, it is important to be able to see what you want to achieve and make your way there. It is super important to know what you want to achieve so that you and your business can keep growing. We recommend Cloth & Paper‘s Goal Inserts so you can keep track of them right in your planner or notebooks.
Here’s our favourite! Downloading apps to keep you organized and productive. If you are not a planner/notebook person, you can also find planner or notes apps online so you can keep track of everything right in your phone or tablet. There are also apps that will keep your productive such as the 30/30 which lets you set up tasks and length time for each of them or Slack and Trello that will help you communicate with your team members in your company.
